DreamRising invites you on a journey of self-exploration and empowerment through the use of oracle and tarot cards. Look at these cards as a playful way to rediscover or learn about yourself – the ones you like and the ones that you would rather not look at – in order to take steps into embracing all of who you are.

Over the course of my journey I developed my own card decks as a means to read for myself and for others. Each deck offers a unique avenue of finding answers, clues and confirmations to your questions or your life in general.

My name is José. My personal journey brought me from Europe to Kenya, one of my aims or desires being to reinvent myself in a new environment. Starting from healing my personal wounds my focus shifted to knowing about myself and life as such. Asking questions like «who am I?» became more important than to gain answers.

Nowadays we have many different card decks and card systems. The best known is the tarot with its myriads of interpretations. There are also oracle cards decks, affirmation card decks, angel card decks and more. For me, all of them are oracle cards. Meaning all of the system and stand alone decks are a tool to tap into a higher consciousness to gain a higher perspective on the matter at hand. We seek answers, validation, insights and options. The cards help us to condense this information in form of pictures and words into stories which make sense to us and might help us to take decisions or be prepared for what is coming.
